Can you really make a living out of trading is a probably one of the most frequent questions that I get asked as a Trader. The trading industry is predicated on promoting the amount of wealth that are in the markets and promising that people can make millions of dollars.
The opportunity to make money is there if you put in the work and are smart about your trading. One of the biggest mistakes that people will make is that they believe they will making thousands upon thousands of dollars within the first couple of weeks. This is an unrealistic expectation. It took me two years to become successful and confident trader.
At the beginning when people will lose a lot of money because they are not paying attention to the right things. So, can you really make a living out of trading? The short answer is yes. The long answer is still yes, but it is going to be a process. To be able to trade effectively is a skill. Just like any other skill it takes time and practice to develop to be able to execute properly.
Learning to trade is like learning a whole new language and then being able to conduct business in that language, it is an entirely new job. Day Trading is not something that is picked up overnight and like any new job at the start you will not be able to do everything effectively and operate in that space to your highest potential, however after a few months and years you begin to fit into the position and are able to master your craft.
You are never too old or too you to learn how to trade, I’ve trained people from all walks of life and different ages and my first response to the question. Can you really make a living out of a trading? Is yes but you have to respect the process and understand it will take time, dedication and patience.
